After Yellowstone, I spent one more lovely relaxing day at Laura's, then drove on from Billings across the rest of Montana and on to Idaho. Anytime Fitness was again my overnight host. Sunday morning I visited Crosspoint Community Church, then drove on to Boise. I had thought to make a stop there, but at 90º F (32º) sleeping in a closed up car was, well, an unappealing idea. Instead I pushed on to a plot of public land along the Snake River, just a bit beyond Ontario, Oregon. There I was able to open my back hatch, set up my netting and get some air flow in the car while I slept. Still warm, but liveable.

Camping Must-Haves of the Day

Wipes

I originally got these because they were biodegradable and you never know when you might be caught away from facilities. However, after just a week and a half of public restrooms and rough toilet paper, these suddenly became my best friend.

Hand Sanitizer Travel Size

I actually packed a small handful of these. One for my daypack. One for my shower bag. One ready to grab from the front seat. And so forth. I might also recommend packing lotion for how dried out hands become, but they have been so handy and necessary in so many locations.
